The Specialised Mechanical Manufacturing Unit (SMMU) is intended to provide assistance to local material developers in the design and manufacture of production equipment. The unit is equipped with :

  • a numerically controlled milling machine (Optimum MT50)
  • a numerically controlled mechanical lathe (Optimum 4615)
  • a winding machine
  • a welding station
