(1) Subject to the authority of a Head of Division, the Internal Audit and Quality Control Division shall be responsible for :

• monitoring, supervising and assessing the performance of central and decentralized services;
• supervising the implementation of strategic plans and work programmes, in conjunction with relevant bodies;
• producing audit reports for the Directorate General;
• assessing and supervising the implementation of strategies for improving the corporate culture;
• verifying compliance with procedures, laws and regulations in force;
• supervising the implementation of the external auditors' recommendations;
• ensuring the reliability and accuracy of accounting and financial information;
• producing and updating risk maps per function, together with corrective measures;
• ensuring and reporting on compliance with standards;
• supervising the quality of products from units and services in collaboration with all services;
• proposing measures to improve production quality and reduce instances of non-compliance ;
• producing a monthly quality control report to be submitted to the Head Office;
• ensuring the implementation of good governance and anti-corruption practices;
• analysing queries and complaints from users and partners.

(2) In carrying out auditing and evaluation missions, the auditors shall be granted access to all documents of the departments audited.
(3) In addition to the Head of Division, the Internal Audit and Quality Control Division is made up of three (03) Auditors and three (03) Controllers.
