(1) Subject to the authority of a Unit Head, the Computer and Statistics Unit shall be responsible for :

• developing the IT Master Plan;
• participating in the implementation of the IT Master Plan;
• managing the Website;
• supervising and developing the information system as a support structure for technical and managerial purposes
• participating in the development of e-business strategies;
• ensuring network and IT equipment maintenance;
• collecting, centralising and analysing data on local and innovative material and producing related statistics;
• record keeping and production of statistics.

(2) In addition to the Unit Head, it comprises two (02) Assistant Research Officers.
